Fire Season is Here Early

We have had some unusual February weather here in Colorado. The warmer than usual dry weather combined with some strong winds have caused an increase in the likely hood of wildfires throughout Colorado’s front range.

There have already been a few fires that have broken out across the state and things are not likely to get better with our current forecast. As we continue to roof the Colorado front range we hope that you will all stay safe and use extreme precautions when dealing with fire.

A red flag warning has been issued for much of the eastern half of the state on Tuesday.

On Monday, a wildfire near Hygiene in Boulder County forced evacuations and destroyed three outbuildings and a barn before containing about 75 percent of it. Firefighters were able to keep the Rabbit Mountain Fire from spreading significantly overnight despite strong winds. Read more…
